This 200+ bed facility offering a range of health services include inpatient and outpatient, medical and surgical, and diagnostic and emergency care, to name a few, is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician to join their team. With 260 physicians representing 40 medical specialties, the hospital serves the healthcare needs of residents in Montgomery County and surrounding areas.

As Ultrasound Technician, this position performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs. Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Schedule: Varying start 7:30 am – 9:00 am with call, weekend and holiday rotation


  • Current ARDMS registration required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • More than two (2+) years of experience required
  • Graduate of an approved School of Diagnostics Ultrasound Program
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Works great under pressure
  • Hospital experience is a plus
  • Vascular certificate is a plus
