As Echo Cardiac Sonographer, this position coordinates the daily operational and clinical activities to assist the physician in the treatment of patients.
Essential Functions:
- Performs Diagnostic studies according to protocol
- Maintains Patient Records according to regulations
- Demonstrates professional responsibility in the Cardiac Sonographer role and ongoing clinical development
- Complies with patient safety goals, policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal working knowledge – equivalent to an Associate’s degree (2 years college)
- Requires knowledge of a specialized field
- 1-3 years of experience
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification
- Cardiac Sonographer Certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI) is required
