The hospital’s key services include cardiology/cardiothoracic surgery, emergency medicine, orthopedics, behavioral health (adult, older adult), general and robotic surgery, specialized care for eating disorders, and outpatient services (radiology/women’s imaging, laboratory, cardio-pulmonary, occupational, physical and speech therapy, primary care, and wound care). Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, the Hospital is also an accredited Chest Pain Center by the American Academy of Cardiology and the recipient of The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for excellence in acute myocardial infarction, hip replacement, knee replacement, stroke, and wound care.

The PCU RN evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

SHIFT:  7pm-7:30am with every third weekend and every other holiday


  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing for the state of Pennsylvania required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • AHA BLS or equivalent, ACLS, and Dysrhythmia course required
  • CPI required
