LOCATION: Park County (WY)
A non-profit, Critical Access Hospital with a 100 bed Long Term Care facility is seeking an experienced Long Term Care RN Director who is willing to “get their hands dirty” and join their team. Seeking a Director who will be visible on the unit, has an “open door policy”, and leads by example. The Director will work with long term care patients (primarily dementia) with a census of 85-88.
Reporting to the Administrator, the Director will oversee and manage 100 FTES and two direct reports (unit managers). With the assistance of the Unit Managers, the Director will handle payroll, budget, hiring, firing, performance evaluations, etc., but the primary focus will be on working on improving the internal staff relationships.
- Must have more than five (5+) years of leadership experience in Long Term Care
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and must be willing to lead by example and not afraid to “get their hands dirty”
- Team leader and partner with an “open door” policy
