In one of its hospitals located in Chester County, this hospital’s Behavioral Health Pavilion is a 64 bed unit serving patients with acute mental health disorders, eating disorders, and geriatric disorders. The registered nurse develops, implements and evaluates the nursing plan of patient care and implements the medical plan of care in collaboration with all disciplines. The Behavioral Health Therapist functions as a member of the Inpatient interdisciplinary team to assess the functional abilities, impairments, and needs of each patient and to address these individually and through psycho-education groups. The Behavioral Health Therapist leads daily clinical, multi-modal and educational groups focused on essential skills patients need to manage their illness as well as their social environment. He/she documents clearly and accurately patient participation and progress. He/she is an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team of professionals and contributes to the formulation of individualized plans of treatment, regular reassessment of patient progress to ensure maximum therapeutic benefit.
Shift: 12 hour Nights from 7PM to 7:30AM (36 hours per week); 1 Weekend shift required every 4 weeks (Friday and Saturday Nights)
WHAT LANDS YOU THIS ROLE:
- More than one (1+) year of relevant experience required
- Active PA RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
