As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients, helping them regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their quality of life. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering personalized and effective therapy programs. (Additional information will be provided to qualified candidates. Essential Job Functions:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients’ specific conditions and functional limitations.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities effectively to promote recovery and improve patients’ physical well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Physical Requirements:
– Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists.
– Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).
– Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.
– Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.
– Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.
– Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations
- Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes
