As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients, helping them regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their quality of life. Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients’ specific conditions and functional limitations.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities effectively to promote recovery and improve patients’ physical well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Physical Requirements:

–        Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists.

–        Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).

–        Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.

–        Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.

–        Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.

–        Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes
