Schedule: Full time (30-40 hours); flexible schedule
Seeking a skilled, compassionate, and licensed Occupational Therapist with experience (or interest) in hand therapy and upper extremities to join an outpatient clinic providing a wide range of services, including post-operative, neck & spine rehabilitation, and hand therapy. The Clinic is part of a dynamic team in an owner-operator company of over 200 leading regional outpatient physical therapy clinics spanning across 16 states. The company has grown over the years but remains committed to providing expert care in the areas of orthopedic and sports injuries in a caring and compassionate manner with superior patient outcomes. The Company offers individualized mentorship and development for those interested in becoming a certified hand therapist.
Position Summary:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with upper extremity conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, and improve mobility
- Provide specialized therapy for a variety of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, traumatic injuries, repetitive use disorders, and chronic conditions
- Design and prefabricated or custom orthoses and splints
- Provide manual therapy techniques and advanced modalities
- Collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), ensuring quality care and adherence to treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and strategies for optimal recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using our state-of-the-art EMR system

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from an occupational therapy curriculum approved by the licensing board
- Current state licensure as an Occupational or Physical Therapist
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
- Minimum of 1–2 years in outpatient therapy with a focus on upper extremity rehabilitation preferred
