The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for identifying and reporting patient needs through data collection, planning, intervention and evaluation and delivery of appropriate care according to nursing standards and professional practice as outlined by the nurse practice act for LPNs. Collection of data is via interview, observation, auscultation and palpation. Through documentation and oral communication, essential information is shared with health care team members and other customers common to the unit/area(s) of assignment.
The Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program is an exciting opportunity for LPNs to receive standardized training and the opportunity to rotate through clinics to find permanent placement in a Magic Valley clinic that is an ideal fit. Your Magic Valley work location will vary based on clinic staffing needs. Full and part time positions available.
- An opportunity for both experienced and new LPNs to explore a wide variety of employment options within the Hospital’s ambulatory clinics

- Continuing education and training opportunities for new LPNs
- Introduction to a variety of clinics with areas of expertise: Family Health, Internal Medicine, Specialty (Pediatrics, Urology, Rheumatology, Cardiology, etc.)
- Graduation from a School of Licensed Practical Nursing
- Current LPN licensure from Idaho
- AHA CPR certification required
- Must be flexible to work occasional weekend and holidays, as needed
- Must have 2+ to 5 years of experience as LPN and/or CNA
